    Position Summary:


    The Regional Sales Support Tech – Retail, Rental and National Accounts is responsible for building, managing and growing relationships with Schiller Grounds Care retail, rental and national sales accounts. Conduct store visits and provide training as needed to our store account customers. Promote and solicit sales orders for Schiller Grounds Care products and services when visiting rental and national sales account locations. Analyze reports to make recommendations for improvements regarding status of tool downtime at all customer locations and provide sales support at key customer locations based on monthly sales performance data.


    This position can be based out of Dallas, Houston or El Paso, Texas


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, meet and exceed sales targets set forth by management, with key customers
    • Satisfy the requirements of our internal and external customers
    • Successfully develop, grow and manage account business
    • Build constructive and effective long-term business relationships with the internal and external customers
    • Understand and satisfy customer requirements as it relates to call frequency to main locations and individual site visits
    • Insure the Voice of Customer is represented in a balanced fashion to the company
    • Interface with Rental accounts, Territory Managers and Regional Managers in developing strong relationships with the individual accounts that purchase under a National Account Agreement
    • Demonstrate a strong business acumen with a thorough knowledge of the customer’s business plan, goals objectives and sales potential and align these with the integration of Schiller goals and objectives
    • Provide innovative and creative marketing, and finance recommendations to benefit both Schiller and its customers
    • Help develop creative and innovative solutions to specific customer issues, programs and business matters
    • Manage customer satisfaction processes
    • Seek out, collect and communicate field intelligence on competition, sales activity, economic trends, pricing and programs
    • Report any and all unusual occurrences in product performance or application
    • Submit weekly reports on customer trends and activity and assist in maintaining Account data base


    Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
    • 5 years sales support preferably with Outdoor Power Equipment and/or Retail, Rental and National sales account management and support
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills-team player
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and Power Point presentations
    • Strong analytical ability to gather and interpret information
    • Able to travel 75+%
