  • Overview

    Schiller Grounds Care is seeking a highly self-motivated individual to join our brand team in a diverse and exciting position. The candidate should possess strong marketing acumen, and be willing to multitask a variety of concurrent marketing and advertising initiatives.


    The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in overseeing the execution of multi-channel advertising and promotional activities including, but not limited to, websites, print, direct mail, email, radio, PR, social media, and in-store visual merchandising. The ideal candidate will drive new ideas, improve processes, coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and seek to improve the performance of all marketing initiatives. This position will report to the Brand Director, and specific job responsibilities include:


    • Work closely with Brand Director in developing and executing strategic marketing plans, which includes developing brand plan, planning product launches, preparing presentations and presenting advertising collateral to management
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of the P&L for brands to ensure programs are optimized and on budget. Conduct periodic business analysis and monitor market trends to stay current with new and changing market conditions to identify new business opportunities for products
    • Work with the Brand Director on product development planning, collaboration and guidance. Work with product development teams to ensure products are a good fit to the target market
    • Support sales function in developing and achieving distribution and sales objectives by effective planning & execution of trade advertising, input on in-store tactics, and integration of retail availability information into other marketing tactics
    • Manage relationships with outside agencies to execute the planning, brainstorming and completion of all marketing creative development and media planning
    • Drive cross-functional teams. Champion products with internal and external customers Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with partners and external agencies
    • Ensure strong collaboration with functional teams including Sales, Publicity, Product Development, Trade Marketing, Digital Services, International and Finance
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, or related field
    • 3 plus years of experience in coordinating and managing marketing projects
    • Strong understanding of business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing practices, digital marketing and customer online experience, durable goods and distributor/dealer sales channels
    • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects at one time
    • Work independently with ability to take the lead and drive successful completion of projects
    • Communicate (verbal, written) and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
    • 10% to 15% travel possible
    • Team-oriented
